We currently offer the first PEEK filament for FFF 3D printing. This is a high performance polymer that could previously be processed only with other conventional manufacturing processes.
High temperature resistance: melts at 343°C
high mechanical rigidity
high abrasion resistance
high chemical resistance: resistant to many acids and bases (pH 1 – pH 13,5)
density: 1.3 g/cm³
water and steam resistance
With its unique mechanical, chemical and thermal properties, PEEK has many advantages over other polymers and is able to replace industrial materials such as aluminium and steel. As a result of its widely applicable properties, PEEK has established itself in a variety of industries including; aerospace, oil and gas, automotive and semiconductors. In the FFF 3D printing process, PEEK is particularly suitable for the production of small series, special designs and prototypes.
Used in the production of various aircraft components, PEEK reduces the overall weight of aircraft, subsequently reducing fuel consumption. As a result of its exceptional thermal properties, PEEK can also be used to protect sensitive devices from heat generated by the jet engines. With such durability, combining PEEK with FFF printing will result in lower operating and manufacturing costs.
Oil & Gas
3D printing is, compared to the other manufacturing methods such as injection molding or CNC milling, an additive method. This means that the object is built up layer by layer, while in the subtractive manufacturing method the object is machined from a block of material with resultant waste materials.
The user-friendly one-click method makes an intensive study of the machine (3D printer), which is necessary in other manufacturing processes, redundant. You benefit from our expertise, assume our settings directly and print – without complications!
Subtractive manufacturing processes produce much waste. Additive manufacturing processes such FFF 3D printing produce no production based material waste. It is therefore a cost efficient manufacturing process, saving costs for businesses.
The purchasing cost of an FFF 3D printer is far below those of comparable production techniques.
Short preparation time:
One of the great advantages of the FFF 3D printing is the low start-up time prior to production: After a short commissioning time the machine is ready to produce parts.
Low setup costs:
FFF 3D printers are low maintenance, quick to repair and easy to clean.
